Bush Chemists are Dougie 'Conscious' Wardrop & Chazbo. Dougie started making tunes with Centry in the late 80s, which led to the start of his label and studio Conscious Sounds. After Centry disbanded, Dougie set up his own studio and started producing or co-producing tunes under the names Bush Chemists (with Chazbo), East Meets West (with a Japanese guy), Hydroponics and The Dub Specialists (with Love Grocer) as well as being the main mixing engineer for Jah Warrior.
