Formed 1991 in San Francisco by Kevin Carnes, drums/sampler (Beatnigs, UAF), David Boyce, tenor/soprano saxophone, efx, synth, spoken word, and Kirk Peterson, electric bass. The Fellinis play a soulful and aggressive style of post modern improvised/composed jazzical sound that is informed by dub, afro beat, abstract funk, drumnbass, hardcore/psych/prog rock and film soundtracks (the darker and more atmospheric the better)
