Chatham's Brigadier Ambrose are a diverse four piece band made up of David Goggin, Karl Butler and brothers Matthew and Daniel Boorman. Brigadier Ambrose first achieved national acclaim with their debut single 'How Popular You Are', which came out in April 2007. This was treated to substantial national radio airplay from Huw Stephens (BBC Radio One) and comedian Phill Jupitus (BBC 6 Music), leading to a BBC Maida Vale session for Radio One in June 2007.
