Formed in 1980, Bloem was a Dutch (Gooise) band, that was from an union of the bands Teenager en Bloom. Founder, singer and frontman of Bloem Joost Timp, son of Mies Bouwman, well-known Dutch Tv presentator. In 1980 the band scored a big hit with the song: Even aan mijn moeder vragen (Just asking my mother).
