As part of many bands including Disco Junk, Tor and Dot Com, Billy has made a name for himself as a talented musician (and an avid sonic fan). His solo work is more focused on synth-punk, with heavy synth leads and drum loops used in most songs. Although this may sound generic to the genre he pulls it off in a way that manages to stand out from his contemporaries, some even using the term Billiamcore to describe his distinctive sound.
