Belgrave caught the attention of producer Joseph Donovan (Sam Roberts Band, The Dears) after they guest performed alongside Sam Roberts Band at a private function in March of 2010. In May Belgrave opened for Donovan’s band The Receivers at Montreal’s La Sala Rossa:
