Alexandra Cárdenas was born in Bogotá, Colombia in 1976. Studied composition under Catalina Peralta at Los Andes University. She moved to Mexico City in 2001. Her music looks for experimentation including new technologies and programming environments like SuperCollider as well as traditional instruments from all over the world.
