Aasar came together in 2019 from the cold mountains of Trentino, Italy. We strived to create a new sound, which given the member’s various influences, was going to be both modern and violent. The name has its roots in the ancient Egyptian language, from Osiris, the goddess of the underworld and the unknown. Concepts are derived from Egyptian and Norse mythology, which are reinterpreted in modern sci-fi terms, to guide the listener through introspectiveness on a dystopian trip.
