SPEED is a female japanese pop group consisting of four members: hiro (Hiroko Shimabukuro), 今井絵理子 (Eriko Imai, also known as Elly), 上原多香子 (Takako Uehara), and 仁絵 (Hitoe Arakaki.) When the group formed they scored the record for the lowest average age for a group (13 and a half years old) which was later broken by several younger groups in the early 00’s. SPEED’s two primary vocalists are hiro and 今井絵理子.
