"Red Banner Division in the Name of My Granny" (KDIMB) is a Moscow band of 13 musicians playing violins, bass-viols, mandolins, flutes, accordions, glockenspiels and more traditional instruments. They create "volatile" music - a patchwork made from orchestral post-rock, eccentric dream pop and absurdist fairytale lyrics. Their performances are usually accompanied by video installations compiled from psychedelic soviet cartoons.
